Before Isagenix, Christine was simply existing. She wasn’t happy, felt humiliated about her weight, and had no desire to take care of herself or be fully present around her children. She didn’t feel comfortable in her own skin and had absolutely no self-love, which led to putting health and fitness low on her list of priorities.

Eventually, though, Christine decided enough was enough.

“In that moment, I made the decision that I am worthy of becoming the best version of myself,” she said. “I realized that I can achieve goals I once felt were impossible.”

Christine with Friends

Christine’s friend showed her how to register for the IsaBody Challenge® and explained that she could get a $200 Isagenix product certificate for completing the 16-week Challenge. Christine had no idea what to expect, but she was ready to change her life.

Since that day, Christine has completed nine IsaBody Challenges and has discovered an entirely new way of living, in which she has learned to embrace her imperfections and go after any goal she desires. Since starting her weight loss journey in 2013, she has lost more than 100 pounds in total. She has lost 33 pounds* since joining Isagenix in 2015, and she has competed as a bodybuilder and become an endurance runner, completing four half marathons and many more 15K races.

Christine Runs a 15K Race with Her Son

“My most proud moment was when my 7-year-old son decided to run his very first race, because he was inspired by me,” said Christine. “We completed the Easter Sunday 15K race together at Santa Monica Beach, and it was an experience we won’t ever forget.

“Each IsaBody Challenge, I have pushed myself to step out of my comfort zone, and today, I am stronger mentally and physically than I was 16 weeks ago. I am so proud of how far I have come. I am Isagenix for life.”

Get to Know Christine

We asked this IsaBody Challenge Finalist a few questions about her success, and here’s what we found out:

I: How will being an IsaBody™ Finalist impact your future, both personally and with Isagenix?

C: As a pharmacist, I learned how pharmaceuticals can help us and have thus been practicing with reactive medicine. But, with Isagenix investing so much into science and making sure we can help others, I have learned to be proactive.

Being an IsaBody Finalist means I can share my story on a larger platform and inspire more people to take care of themselves. I am committed to spreading this knowledge and the Isagenix Solutions with those around me, and if it weren’t for Isagenix, I never would have found this passion or purpose in life.

In the future, I’m very interested in building an Isagenix business and hope that one day I can completely retire from my corporate career to pursue Isagenix full time. I know that since becoming a finalist, my kids are even more inspired by what I am doing, which will teach them the power of consistency and never stopping until they reach their goals.

Christine Encourages Her Daughter to Exercise

I: In addition to your favorite Isagenix products, what foods are always in your kitchen to help you stay on track with your health and weight loss goals?

C: I always have turkey and chicken breast, and my husband helps me grill all my proteins and veggies on Sundays so we are set for the week. I love all fruits and love nut butter! My favorites are almond butter and sunflower butter.

I: Do you have any favorite healthy recipes?

C: My quinoa tabbouleh salad!

  • 2 cups water.
  • 185 g quinoa.
  • ¼ cup olive oil.
  • ½ tsp sea salt.
  • Juice from 1 lemon.
  • 3 tomatoes, diced.
  • 2 Persian cucumbers, diced.
  • 2 bunches of spring onions, diced.
  • 10-20 mint leaves, chopped.
  • 3 cups romaine lettuce.
  • 2 cups parsley.

Toss all ingredients together, and top with Armenian feta cheese!

I: What advice do you have for people who are struggling with insecurities?

C: In my latest IsaBody Challenge, I finally learned how to embrace my imperfections and celebrate them. For that, I am very proud of myself. It took me many years to learn, but you must stop comparing yourself to others, stop seeking external validation, and stop believing everything you see on social media. Don’t be so hard on yourself, because you are the only one living your life, and you can’t bring happiness to others if you’re barely surviving.

The minute you embrace your imperfections and stop comparing yourself to others, I promise you will feel a million times happier!

I: What is one thing few people know about you that you want others to know?

C: I was 16 years old when my family came to California from Yerevan, Armenia. In the Armenian culture, we don’t typically see many women becoming athletes and competitors, especially after having kids. I had settled as being an overweight mom who was always on a diet, whose focus was her kids and her career, until I found the IsaBody Challenge. When I decided to do the Challenge and compete in a bodybuilding bikini competition, my own family gave me a hard time. But, I relied on the IsaBody community for inspiration and did not only one show that year but three.

I was bullied about my weight and my looks when I first came to America, and I barely spoke English. I had no friends and no confidence. I never would have imagined I could achieve these things, but Isagenix has helped me see what is possible!
